Philosophy

Each and every one of us are flawed, imperfect beings from the time of our birth.

We are responsible for the results of our actions. Good intentions mean nothing if they consistently result in bad outcomes.

Your methods and your goals are equally important. If one is not honorable, neither is the other. The ends do not and cannot justify the means.

Law can only define what is legal, not what is good.

Good and nice are not always the same thing.

There is no shame in being poor. The shame lies in doing nothing to change that situation and expecting others to support you indefinitely.

When dealing with individuals, it is always my intention to deal politely, honestly, and as I would like to be dealt with as much as possible. Being dust, I fail more than I would like. When that happens, I pray for strength and forgiveness, and try again.

When approaching political solutions, my first concern on domestic issues is "do no harm." No political right or benefit should accrue to one person at the expense of another. All citizens should be equal under the law. This does not preclude the right of a nation to defend itself against imminent or threatened aggression by foreign nations, groups, or individuals.

Christ told his followers that they would know the truth. There is absolute truth, if you want to find it and have the courage to look for it.
